In 1960’s they came out with chronographs. They have always been used in automobile etc and have come to be a watch used by automobile racers. Tag Heuer has now become one of the main companies in the production of stopwatches and equipment used for timing. Tag has been a major sponsor for the recent Formula 1 races and still continues to be a leading company in the production of watches and timers.

While they were trying to do this in secret there were also other companies also trying to make these automatic watches. Heuer went into a venture with Breitling and this is when they came out with the automatic watches.
Tag has now come to be one of the most influential watches in today’s world and now continues to be a leading manufacturer of automatic watches which has become a fashion today. The current models are extremely pricy and some of the watches are custom made. A watch by tag was developed by for the SLR McLaren Mercedes- Benz in the Formula 1. This brand has been such a classy brand that all the celebrities have been using this brand. This brand has also won many awards for the critical watches they have made. Tag is making watches for almost all professional sports today.
