The announcement also comes with the report that the HTC Desire launch with Orange Mobile UK might be delayed as they prepare more stocks to meet up with orders and pre-orders for the Android smart phone. The HTC Desire Android smart phone was first announced last year as the HTC Bravo smart phone. The device was considered to be the best of its kind and it was originally meant to be one of the first HD ready Android devices to be released (which was later removed, along with 720p video recording).
The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1GHz CPU, a 3.7 AMOLED touch screen (with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels) and a 5 mega pixel camera with WVGA video recording capability. It runs the latest Android operating system and uses the HTC Sense user interface.
